This event is a TRIFECTA Cleanup in partnership with Keep Charlotte Beautiful and Park & Recreation! Volunteers will be tackling Camp Greene Park, surrounding streets, and the stream by removing litter.

At the start of this event, you can choose to clean up the park grounds, walk the surrounding streets, or cover the stream and its banks.

Join Mecklenburg County's Services for Adults Division to support homebound seniors this holiday season. Volunteers will do light lifting to bag fresh produce and festive items for over 1,200 individuals. We will package items on Friday, December 5th, beginning at 9:30am. During this event, we will be marking storm drains with small educational placards to let people passing by know that Only Rain Goes Down the Drain. These Storm drain markers help prevent pollution in our streams through education!

During this event, volunteers will be given a map of an area to mark drains. They will use our new Storm Drain Marking Application through Quick Capture to document drains that are marked and drains that may need repairs. Volunteers should expect to walk or drive 1-3 miles during this event.
