Come learn to fish with us! All skills are welcome.
Learn from the pros with experts from the UNCC Bass Fishing Team and the NC Wildlife Commission! During this event, staff will teach participants how to identify fish, tie knots, and cast a rod, and unhook a fish.
Bait and tackle are provided for all attendees. However, attendees 16 and older will need an NC Fishing License.
This session will take place at the pond at Hornet's Nest Park!
IMPORTANT: Each registration slot will reserve 1 fishing rod. If you are bringing a child who will need a fish rod but you will not, please only register for the child.
