Stream cleanups involve removing litter from the stream and surrounding areas to improve water quality and wildlife habitat! We will also help care for the Hidden Valley Ecological Garden by removing invasive plants, mulching, and adding some new native plants.
Parking: Street parking is available along Wellingford St. Please do not block any intersections or driveways.
What to Bring: To limit single-use plastic, please bring a filled reusable water bottle.
What to Wear: For stream cleanup, supplies such as hip waders and grabbers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, but we will bring as many as we can. All volunteers will be provided with gloves and trash bags. All supplies needed for garden maintenance will be provided. Feel free to bring your own gloves and boots if you’d like! We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and long pants to this event.
