Storm Drain Marking involves walking and/or driving to a secondary location and gluing a small placard to the storm drains in the area. We will also be picking up litter as we mark and clear drains. During Storm Drain Marking, we will be using an app called Quick Capture to log the drains we mark.
Parking: Ample parking is available in the Westmoreland Athletic Complex parking lot at the listed event address. You can meet staff at the check-in table near the entrance of the park to check in and receive supplies and instructions.
What to Bring: To limit single-use plastic, please bring a filled reusable water bottle.
What to Wear: We will provide all necessary supplies for Storm Drain Marking. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and clothes for warm/hot weather. We will also have sunscreen and bug spray for those who need it.
